Overall it was a fun night with friends, amazing food, dancing and a silent auction.  I dont yet know how much was raised for the SPCA but I am hoping it was a significant sum! It is an organization that does so much for animals and yet has struggles so much with funding.  I know from personal experience there were times when one of my kittens needed a medication and yet there were no resources for the SPCA to be able to purchase that medication so the clinic vets would try and find some kind of alternate treatment or I would take the kittens to a regular clinic for the medication.  I am hopeful that the Canadian Associations donation will make a difference for the many animals that the SPCA saves everyday.
