Here we are enjoying a fun Saturday evening out at a friends 70's themed 40th Bday party at the Singapore cricket club.  It also happened to coincide with a pre-National Day fireworks rehearsal over the Marina which was a nice perk.

Our costumes for the event were very last minute so there was a bit of a scramble as we mixed and matched a few things together - but I think overall we managed to capture the essence of the 70's. Kingsley was especially proud of his fro which I bought for him at a costume shop in Far East Plaza called Lips.  The prices in the store were pretty steep... $25 for a cheap looking wig?!? but the selection of items was the best I have found in Singapore so far so if you are looking for a specific costume accessory I would at least stop by and check it out.
