Next stop on our trip was Mumbai and Pune. Thanks to a stroke of genius I had the foresight to book us on a flight from Udaipur to Mumbai rather than take another overnight train. The flight time was less than an hour, was on time, and we were given exit row seats! Oh the luxury!
While in Pune we stayed with our friends Suhas and Medha and their two beautiful girls Rhea and Roma.
We had so many wonderful memories from our time in Pune and valued the chance to deepen friendships.
Some Highlights:
- Casual mornings sipping hot lemon tea and trying dosas, eggless omelets, vegetable cutlets, tapioca dumplings and many other delish dishes at Roopali.
- Kingsley and Suhas tennis re-match -- which shockingly did NOT result in a win for Woods. We are blaming the loss on Suhas and Medha for the brilliant strategic move of feeding us too well - to ensure a win. Re- re-match will be held in Singapore when the Kelkar family comes for a visit!
- Fun late night dinners (The Sizzler), and wonderful conversations about life, friends, family and raising children.
- The "three" kids - Kingsley, Rhea and Roma playing Fruit Ninja and competing for the HIGH SCORE!
