Japan - Toyko Harajuku

Tokyo has many great shopping areas, Shibuya and Harajuku being the more trendy and popular among the younger crowd. They also happen to be one of the best places in the world for people watching.

Takeshita Street was one of my favorite spots in Harajuku. It is a narrow pedestrian only street lined with stores containing miscellaneous fashion items popular among Japanese teens.

We saw so many amazing... costumes? outfits?  It was incredible! I got so excited seeing so many bizarre clothing combinations I felt the strong desire to buy something for myself! So before Kingsley had a chance to even notice I was missing I snuck into a store and bought myself a pair of mismatched polka dot and stripped thigh high socks. I love them! Now I just need to find the perfect moment to debut my Harajuku style to the world!

Lynn's Harajuku fashion style - it needs a little work...but its getting there.

There were so many shops selling bizarre fashion items it is probably best we only had a few hours to explore the area, with more time who knows what kind of trouble I could have gotten myself into!

Even this poodle was flaunting her Harajuku style

Fuzzy bear hats are where I draw the line in extreme fashion style.
